Wondertropolis is the capital of Wonderland, and the seat of the Heart Family. It is bordered by the Whispering Woods, the Everlasting Forest, and the Chessboard Desert. The city is described as being built primarily from crystal. During Redd's reign, Wondertropolis became a dirty, crime ridden slum, but following Alyss Heart's ascension to the throne and her subsequent urban renewal projects, the city returned to its former glory. The city suffered two incursions during the events of Seeing Redd, first by Glass Eyes after the shutdown of the Crystal Continuum, and then again by Redd with her combined army of Boarderlanders and Earth Black Imaginationists. Wondertropolis was directly under the center of WILMA, and Imagination was slowest to return to the people who lived there.
